SNIP (Spay Neuter for Income Qualified Pets) is a not-for-profit organisation that provides desexing surgeries at a reduced cost for dogs and cats whose owners could not otherwise afford the surgeries.
Zarli runs our SNIP program, rehoming stray and abandoned cats and kittens. Zarli began rehoming kittens 9 years ago after a mumma cat and her 6 kittens were dumped at the practice. Since then, Zarli has fostered and re-homed hundreds of kittens and still owns mumma cat!
The program aims to spread the importance of desexing to reduce the amount of unwanted litters of kittens and puppies.
All of our SNIP kittens come fully vet-checked, vaccinated, micro-chipped, de-sexed and worm and flea treated, and they are cared for by our Head Veterinary Nurse at her own home.
The prices are $140 for both males and females and all proceeds go back into the SNIP program to help with the cost of raising and looking after these kittens. The Kittens also come with 4 weeks free Pet Insurance with PetPlan.
If you are interested in adopting any of the SNIP kittens seen here, please download our Adoption form and hand it in to any of our 3 clinic locations. Please don’t forget to add which kitten or sex you are most interested in!
We are in the process of designing a specially built SNIP kitten building so that the kittens can live at our Muswellbrook clinic. However, this is a costly project and any donations are greatly appreciated. If you would like to contribute to this worthy cause you can donate via direct debit below.
We also greatly appreciate any items such as food bowls, toys, bedding, food and litter trays which can be donated and dropped off to any of our 3 clinic locations.
If you would like to donate you can via direct debit.

National Desexing Network
The National Desexing Network (NDN) is a nationwide referral system for discounted desexing made available to pet owners in financial need. Our goal is to end pet overpopulation by making this service more affordable to those who might not otherwise be in a position to desex their pets.
Pet Medical is affiliated with NDN, go to www.ndn.org.au for more information.
“We just adopted two beautiful kittens, they are fabulous and such a pleasure to have. The staff were wonderful,
“Hi Zarli, Oh he is everything I hoped I would have in a kitten! I love him so much. We chose the name Leonidas (Leo for short) he is so adventures and cuddly at the same time. I’m enjoying spoiling him and he is perfect with the litter tray and my partner absolutely adores him! And he was never much of a cat person till now (:. I think it’s awesome what you guys do and everyone was really friendly and super helpful!”
